Referrals & partners
If you sell to businesses that answer phones, Vociply is something you can either point at or resell. The two are different arrangements with different economics.
Two ways to earn
| Referring | Partner | |
|---|---|---|
| What you do | Send people your link. | Sell and run voice AI for your clients. |
| Who owns the client | Vociply. | You. |
| You earn | Commission on what they spend. | The margin between your pool rate and what you charge. |
| Effort | Minimal. | Real — you are delivering a service. |
| Suits | Consultants, existing customers, anyone with an audience. | Agencies, resellers, software companies embedding voice. |
Referring
Referrals gives you a link and shows what it has earned. Anyone who signs up through it is attributed to you, and you earn a percentage of their first invoice — the exact rate is shown on your own page, since it varies by arrangement.
What actually converts
- Be specific about the problem. “You’re missing calls after 5pm and losing the bookings” lands. “AI voice agents” does not.
- Send them to a playbook, not the homepage. Someone who reads the receptionist playbook can picture their own business in it.
- Refer people who answer phones for a living. Clinics, agencies, brokers, distributors, SACCOs, home services. Not businesses whose customers only ever email.
Commission is shown per currency and never combined — a Kenyan referral earns in shillings, a Nigerian one in naira. The referrals page lists recent commission with its status.
The partner programme
Partners get a contracted pool of minutes at a wholesale rate and sell voice AI to their own clients on top of it, plus commission on packages sold through them.
What you get
- A pool of minutes at a partner rate, which you allocate across the clients you run.
- Commission on packages sold through you, on top of your own margin.
- White-label options at the appropriate tier, so the product carries your brand.
- A partner view in the app for the accounts you manage.
What is expected of you
You are delivering a service, not passing on a link. Building the agents, writing the instructions, connecting the integrations and tuning from transcripts is your work. These docs are your manual for it — the playbooks in particular are written so they can be followed on a client’s behalf.
The playbooks work, but the first one always takes longer than you expect — mostly in writing good instructions and cleaning up the client’s calendar or CRM. Do one end to end, learn where the time actually goes, then price the next one accordingly.
Apply through the partners page. Terms are agreed per partner, so the specifics of rate, pool size and white-labelling come out of that conversation.
Who this suits
| You are… | Consider | Because |
|---|---|---|
| A marketing agency running lead gen | Partner | You already deliver the leads. Calling them in seconds is the obvious next line item — and the results are measurable. |
| An IT provider or systems integrator | Partner | You already hold the CRM and telephony relationship. This slots into work you do anyway. |
| A consultant in one vertical | Partner | One playbook, deeply understood, sold repeatedly. Clinics or brokers, done properly, is a business. |
| A software company | Partner (white-label) | Voice becomes a feature of your product rather than a third-party tool your customers manage. |
| A happy customer | Referring | No delivery obligation. Point people at it and get paid. |
Partner questions
Do I need to be technical?
No code is involved anywhere in these docs. You do need to be comfortable with the client’s systems — their calendar, their CRM — and willing to read transcripts and tune. That is the actual skill.
Can I use my own branding?
White-label is available at the appropriate tier and by arrangement. Discuss it when you apply.
How do I manage several clients?
Separate accounts per client is the clean model — data stays separated and each client can be handed over intact. Partner accounts get a view across the ones you manage.
What if a client outgrows what I can support?
That is what Enterprise is for, and it is a good outcome rather than a loss. Talk to the Vociply team early rather than trying to carry an account beyond what you can serve.
